mood board and inspiration

In creating this design, I found inspiration in the enchanting beauty of French Polynesia. The intricate pearl necklace and delicate beaded lace of the bikini appearing under the skirt are a celebration of this aesthetic. The motifs on both the skirt and top feature exquisite orchids that I captured in my own garden, intertwining nature with artistry. I chose to name this design Selene, after the Greek goddess of the moon, as the lustrous hues of the pearls evoke the soft glow and brilliance of a full moon. Each element of this piece tells a story, weaving together inspiration from the natural world and mythological elegance.
